Sub-Saharan Africa: review of the Priority for Equality Initiative

Cayambe and her team had the opportunity in March 2023 to present the results of the evaluation carried out over several months of the activities of the United Nations Girls Education Initiative.

The initiative focuses on eight sub-Saharan African countries to put gender equality at the heart of education systems. Launched in 2019 at the G7 summit, it aims to build the capacity of educational players and develop resources in favor of gender equality in education, overcoming persistent barriers for girls and boys.
